COVID-19 Vaccination Updates and Guidance

Greetings from UNON JMS.

Please see the updates shared earlier as listed below for your information, planning, and intervention as needed.

  1. COVID-19 Booster Vaccination Campaign – Walk in Procedure

We have transitioned to a walk-in system for the COVID-19 booster vaccination campaign based on the date of your 2nd dose vaccination.

To access to booster vaccination, please check your 2nd dose date and if you are at or past 6 months since your 2nd dose, you are welcome to JMS for your booster shot.

You will need to present your vaccination certificate at the vaccination registration desk prior to clearance for vaccination.

If you are not registered in the Ministry of Health portal, please do so at the link Covid-19 Registry (health.go.ke) – Click “Create Account” on the top right, and select the answer “No” to the question “Have you been vaccinated?” to proceed to create an account.

  1. First and Second Dose Vaccination

If you are yet to receive your first COVID-19 vaccine or are due for your second dose, including the teens who received their initial Pfizer dose in December, please state the same on arrival at the JMS vaccination desk. No invitation is required to come in for your 1st or 2nd dose.

  1. Vaccination timing

For first, second, and booster vaccine doses, vaccination timings will be as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday 10am to 3pm
  • Fridays 9am to 1pm
  1. Vaccine Availability

We are currently deploying Pfizer and Astra Zeneca vaccines.
